The Yardbird Suite features some of Edmonton's top and up-and-coming jazz musicians weekly at their TUESDAY NIGHT SESSIONS.  The featured group of performs an opening set of music which is followed by a jam session.  Tickets are $5.00 for everyone and are available only at the door.  Doors are at 7:30pm and the session starts at 8:00pm.  More details are available at Yardbird Suite.

On this night, you better "jump to it" and get yourself down to the Yardbird Suite for a lively night of vintage jazz, jump blues and Afro Cuban rhythms, with Dave Babcock and his Jump Orchestra.

This night will feature Dave Babcock on saxophone & vocals, Amos Garrett on guitar & vocals, Sebastian Knox on saxophone, Bob Tildesley on trumpet, Audrey Ochoa on trombone, Doug Organ on piano, organ and vibes, Rubim de Toledo on acoustic bass and Jamie Cooper on drums.

The show begins at 9:00 PM and doors open at 8:00PM.

Another night of great jazz vocals down at the Yardbird, with Vancouver's Melody Diachun in the company of a groove-oriented jazz quartet. Join the Melody Diachun Quartet featuring Melody Diachun, Chris Andrew on piano, Doug Stephenson on bass and Ray Garraway on drums.
