Close to 200 MAGIC 99 listeners and Hicks-on-Six readers turned out at Julian's Bar in The Chateau Louis Hotel & Conference Centre Friday afternoon to make Art of Conversation XXVI the most succesful yet.Christie Kudos to hotel owners Barb and Julian Koziak for their warm hospitality and superb service.Our monthly get together continues to attract newcomers as well as a core of regulars including Jim Bell of Jobsite Workwear,newly minted MLA Dr.

The turnout for Art of Conversation continues to grow. Last Thursday well over 100 devout conversationalists attended Art of Conversation XXIV at Koutouki Greek Taverna on Gateway Blvd. Father & son team Bruce & Steve Hogle, both former news directors at CTV Edmonton, were among the early arrivals.

As an animal lover and owner of two dogs, I am revulsed by the actions of those Camrose teenagers who allegedly microwaved a cat. And I wonder:
How can such young minds be so filled with hate and anger to perpetrate such a heinous crime?
How well do you really know your kids when your first reaction is " My son could never do anything like that!"

Art of Conversation XX Finds an Oasis From the Cold

Thanks to the 80+ hearty souls who braved the Arctic cold recently to attend Art of Conversation XX at The Oasis Conference Centre in West Edmonton. The OCC's Benita von Sass and Leigh Ann Angermann pulled out all the stops, treating hungry conversation seekers to some amazing menu samplings from Krave Catering while Edmonton singer-songwriter Kelly Alanna 's seductive voice filled the Centre's elegant marble, glass and wood foyer.
